When comparing this nylon money belt to others, what first catches your eye is how small this item is. It actually looks like an ordinary belt. Eagle Creek designed this belt specifically targeting those who just want to hide away their money, setting aside their documents, tickets and so on.
This belt has another important feature: the buckle is made of plastic. Since the belt doesn’t use any metal, it won’t have to be removed on the airport security lines. One thing less to worry about on these tough times.

Great money belt

Belt worked great, has plenty of room for a lot of currency, and was comfortable. The plastic buckle is a little cheesy but I was more concerned with functionality than looks. Great money belt for the price!!

| I wore this belt through security and had no problems with alerts. It was nice to not have to not take off my belt to get through the metal detectors. In Japan I forgot to take my metal watch off and the security person insisted in inspecting the belt. After running his fingers over the belt and bending it he gave it back without further comment. And after all that it even did a good job holding my pants up. |

| Money belts are hard to find but so useful--particularly when traveling. This soft one is really nice. No one would ever guess that my husband has a couple of hundred dollar bills hidden for an emergency. This Xmas present was one he really enjoyed. |
Job well done

| The belt is excellent. It held over $500 in $20s and $1s easily and no one knew I was wearing a money belt. I wore it every day for 10 days on my overseas trip. No problems. |

I ordered the Eagle Creek Money Belt for a 3 week tour around Italy, Spain and Croatia. The belt arrived in a fair and timely manner as well as fit the description in the notes. I never had any problems with the belt, what can I say, it's a belt with a plastic buckle type snap with a secret money zippered compartment on the inside...it does exactly what it's suppose to do and in this day, that's a good thing =) I wear around a 30- 31 inch waist size for pants/slacks so even though there was a fair amount of excess belt once pulled around my waist, it was smoothly hidden under the original belt once threaded through the buckle so there was no messy "tuck over/under" appearance of excess belt.
BOTTOM LINE:
I would recommend this belt to anyone on the fence needing a money belt for safe storage. |
